PETER K. LEVINE: I pride myself on the fact that we thoroughly prepare our cases. We do take on cases that a lot of lawyers won't take on because they're afraid of the work. I enjoy the challenge. I personally am involved in every case. It's not like in a lot of law firms where you see the partner on the first day and you never see that person again. I'm litigating the case for the client and myself. And I make sure that the case is as successful as it can be because my name is on the line.
I like practicing law. And if you don't like the practice of law, you're not going to do a good job for the client. You have to have a passion about this because it's not an easy job. You have to get into the client's shoes. That's why I go to the client's home. That's why I speak with the client. That's why the client stays involved because if you can't be in the client's shoes, you can't speak for the client in the courtroom.
